Enter mind-body therapy. Mind-body therapy approaches the whole human. Mind-body therapy entreats us to look beyond the antiquated traditions of talk-therapy and into the depths of the whole human mind-body, and a nervous system that has been forming around and organizing our experience since day one. Mind-body therapy uses techniques to listen to the cues of the body to uncover the beliefs at the core of our psyche, to help us learn how we’ve come to relate to ourselves, others, and the world. When these ways of relating are painful, it can get us stuck in problematic patterns. Mind-body therapy offers a map to reorganize our experience and bring us into alignment with ourselves, others, and the world.
