I am a white, cis-gendered, able bodied queer woman. As a person with white privilege I hold the intention of being a life-long student in the “unlearning” of white supremacy and work to contribute to the liberation and empowerment of all beings.
I welcome folks of all backgrounds and identities. I believe in a model of cultural humility (rather than cultural competence), meaning that I acknowledge no matter how much I learn academically I will never fully understand the lived experience of daily marginalization and oppression. I commit to listening to and believing my clients, trusting them as the expert in their own experience.
